Letter from Carnegie

We are the Carnegie Teaching Schools’ Alliance, an alliance of 17 Teaching Schools across the Yorkshire and Humber region. In East Riding we are in partnership with Riding Forward TSA based at Molescroft Primary School.

We are currently able to offer governor training provision which is licensed from the National College for Teaching and Leadership.

At the moment we have the following provision:

Free Governor Workshops

Performance Related Pay

Financial Efficiencies – Leading an efficient and effective school

RAISEonline Primary and Secondary

These workshops are free for governors to attend, we can run them at a central location in the East Riding or for clusters of schools. The RAISE workshop we can also run for individual schools who may have a pending Ofsted and use their own data for governors to understand for £100.

Chair of Governors Leadership Development Programme – which is a 9 month programme which we can offer for £150  (free for schools under 100 on roll)

Clerks Development Programme – which is a 9 month programme which we can offer for £200   (free for schools under 100 on roll)

Both of these can be ‘bespoke’ for East Riding schools to ensure we meet the context of the schools.

If any of these are of interest to you, I would be delighted to speak more to you about them.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes

Rachel
